DANIEL SANSEVIERO

Sculptor and Painter, bachelor of business administration
design, Daniel Sanseviero was born in Caracas, Venezuela, in
1978. His metal sculptures present a new form of
abstraction, known as Optic Art ,It plays with the viewer’s
visual perception. His sculptures appear to be tridimensional
boxes,. He first designs how the formation of "Boxes" will
layout and then he paints his sculpture with a "trompe l'oeil"
effect so that the flat sculpture has volume and depth.
The geometric sculptures manipulate the eye into seeing
depth in flat sheets of brightly colored metal. This art moves
artists and neuroscientists to think about how the eye
processes lines, forms and colors.
Daniel Sanseviero presented solo exhibitions in Venezuela,
Miami, and The Dominican Republic, he also participated in
several art fairs and collectives.
